Panther and Angel Falls

Panther and Angel Falls Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Sumptuous! The trail to Panther and Angel Falls (also known as the Rabun Beach Trail) gives the hiker two waterfalls for the price of one. Fairly similar in appearance, they both resemble a staircase carved out by Mother Nature. You cant help but wonder how long it took to create such a phenomenon."

Don’t rely on phone GPS or maps to get you to the trail entrance. Print out the map beforehand because there is little to no cell service. Made the mistake of parking at the first sign that said angel falls and it added a longer and more difficult hike. One older person with us had trouble with the extra hike. There is another trail entrance at the campground farther down the road that is a much shorter and easier hike. Water is icy cold. Had a great experience there.
