Perry Super Sod Farm Professional Review and Guide
"This sod farm is just south of Macon and is fairly small in comparison with the other sod farms in this book, but it gets a lot of the same great species and is very easy to bird. There are two sections, only a couple of miles apart, both birded by driving down good dirt roads and scanning the sod.
Like all sod farms, during weekdays you must check in at the office for permission to bird, but on weekends you can just drive in. As at other sod farms, remain only on established roads and stay out of the way of workers and equipment. Key birds: Buff-breasted, Upland, Pectoral, and Least Sandpipers; American Golden-Plover, Horned Lark, American Pipit, swallows. This eTrail provides detailed information on birding strategies for this specific location, the specialty birds and other key birds you might see, directions to each birding spot, and helpful general information."
