Kinchafoonee Creek

Kinchafoonee Creek Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The natural mosaic of Kinchafoonee Creek took a long time to create. Sandbars occur at nearly every bend and call you to pull over. Limestone rocks offer contrast along the shifting sand stream bottom.

You’ll be surprised at the contrast between deep and shallow water here. Fallen trees are prevalent nearly the entire distance. The creek is often completely canopied and usually partly canopied."
