Some trail improvements have enhanced the quality of the ride, and it still is a lot of fun to ride. This trail has a few stretches of very fast, rolling downhill that will keep you smiling even when you have to pedal back up Red Root Mountain.

If you want an all day ride, combine Ladyslipper with the Lake Russell Loop and Sourwood Trail for some great scenery and moderately technical riding.
