Pine Moutain Trail

Pine Moutain Trail is a hiking trail in Meriwether County, Georgia. It is within F. D. Roosevelt State Park. It is 4.7 miles long and begins at 1,303 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 9.3 miles with a total elevation gain of 1,620 feet. The WJSP-FM (Warm Springs) (elevation 1,332 feet) and WJSP-TV (Columbus) (elevation 1,332 feet) towers and the WJSP Picnic Site picnic site are near the trailhead. There are also parking and an information board. The Old Sawmill Campsite, Bumblebee Ridge Campsite, and Sassafras Hill Campsite camp sites and the Rocky Point Parking can be seen along the trail. This trail connects with the following: Pine Mountain Trail and White Candle and Beaver Pond Trail.
