I went to these trails twice while visiting Georgia. The first time, I brought my niece, 9 and nephew, 4, and they loved it. Trails are all well groomed and covered in wood chips. They are wide enough to walk side by side. The kids enjoyed crossing over the bridges and exploring the stream at various points along the way. My second trip to Big Trees was to run with my dog. I came to learn that dogs are quite welcome, on leash, however running is not allowed! Well, I ran anyway, but had to go around a few times to get any respectable mileage.

This is a great set of trails in an unexpected location. I would go on my lunch break to walk here. It's located off busy Roswell Road and behind a police station so it feels "safer" Lots of flowers in the spring and summer. Birds galore and a creek that meanders through the middle of the land. The entire set of trails is easy to moderate in my opinion. A great getaway from the city that surrounds it.
