Cochran Shoals Professional Review and Guide

"These two units, located just outside Interstate 285, are among the most popular with hikers and runners. The National Recreation Area’s busiest unit is Cochran Shoals with its 3.1-mile gravel Fitness Trail (the parking area can quickly fill to capacity on weekends).

Beyond the fitness trail are challenging hiking paths that climb into the surrounding hills, including the Scribner Trail linking Cochran Shoals with the Sope Creek Unit of the park."
