Smithgall Woods State Park: Laurel Ridge Trail Professional Review and Guide
"This interpretive trail takes you through numerous habitats, from a mountain cove to a ridgetop to wetlands. There are 25 interpretive markers along the trail, all called out in a handy pamphlet that you should pick up at the visitors center. This is a great hike for families, especially kids who can keep their eyes peeled for squirrels, spotted salamanders, and a variety of animal tracks."
