    Ochlockonee River Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The Ochlockonee River is excellent for touring, is one of North Florida’s longest rivers, and is a state-designated paddling trail for most of its length. The Ochlockonee’s headwaters are found up in Worth County, Georgia. From there it meanders south for nearly 150 miles to meet the Gulf of Mexico near Panacea, Florida.

The West Fork of the Ochlockonee and Barnetts Creek are its primary Peach State tributaries, while in Florida, Telogia Creek and the Little River are the main feeders. However, a host of creeks, rills, and streams feed the Ochlockonee along its journey."
