Watson Mill Bridge State Park Beaver Creek Loop Trail

Atlanta, Georgia

Watson Mill Bridge State Park: Beaver Creek Loop Trail Professional Review and Guide

"A mellow path that drops easily into a wetland, the Beaver Creek Trail follows a stream that was once home to many beavers. However, heavy rains in the 1990s destroyed their dams, and the beavers abandoned these woods to inhabit other areas of the South Fork of the Broad River. The path turns away from the stream at the 1-mile mark and rises gradually into an attractive forest of mature hardwoods."
