Located only a short distance from busy Highway 400, the Big Creek Greenway offers a wooded retreat away from urban bustle and traffic. The linear park, maintained by the City of Alpharetta, features a wide, paved pathway that follows the course of Big Creek for more than 6 miles as well as a 2-mile mountain biking trail. The park also offers excellent sites for bird-watching and, occasionally, wildlife viewing (on a recent visit, we saw a white-tailed deer).
