Enjoy a circuit that travels view-laden bluffs above Upper Lake Lafayette to reach the shores of Piney Z Lake. Walk beneath ancient live oaks to reach an archaeological site once occupied by aboriginal Floridians. Your return route wanders along the side of the bluff and adds a little elevational variety. Tom Brown Park is a multiuse facility. The preserve offers not only trails for hikers, bicyclists, joggers, and dog walkers but also picnic facilities, playgrounds, and ball fields. Trails are well marked with plastic diamond blazes and well maintained. The paths are busy, especially Goose Pond Trail, a paved greenway that travels through Tom Brown Park.
