This literal walk in the park follows an asphalt path along the shore of big Lake Seminole. Known simply as the Exercise Trail, it offers a natural setting of Florida forest that enables a getaway in urbanized Pinellas County. A shortcut is available to cut the distance in half if you so desire. The Exercise Trail is a popular venue for hikers with a daily regimen, especially those who live nearby in the towns of Seminole and Pinellas Park. Tampa Bay–area residents of all stripes can enjoy this trail, located in well-manicured and eye-pleasing Lake Seminole Park. In addition to the Exercise Trail, it has numerous picnic areas, playgrounds, a ball field, a boat ramp, and also a hand launch ramp for canoes and kayaks.
