Turtle Beach County Park

Turtle Beach County Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Finding the campground: I-75’s exit 205 leads to Clark Road. Drive west for 3.8 miles and bear left onto Stickney Point Road for 1.7 miles. Turn left (south) onto Midnight Point Road and drive 2.5 miles into the campground.

About the campground: Sarasota County purchased a private trailer park called “Gulf Beach Travel Trailer Park” in 2006. Today the tiny 14-acre park has 2,600 linear feet on the Gulf, and offers campers a boat ramp, canoe/kayak launch, horseshoe pits, fishing, parking, picnicking, grills, playground, restrooms, swimming, and a volleyball court. It is named for the beach’s many sea turtle nests."
