Perdido River Trail

Perdido River Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The Perdido River Trail is a wonderful day hike along this black-water river that forms the coastal border of Alabama and Florida. This 2.8-mile out-and-back meanders alongside the river, with plenty of views and opportunities to take a dip from one of the many sandbars.

The trail passes through beautiful white Atlantic cedar bogs, and there is a good chance you’ll see bald eagles, ospreys, and maybe an alligator or two."
