This is a developing trail that will become part of a larger system to be constructed over the next few years. It runs from the town of Winter Springs in the east to Oviedo in the west along a series of upscale subdivisions. With the old railroad right-of-way thickly vegetated with large trees on both sides, there’s a peacefulness to this trail that’s often missing on urban trails. Add some running creek water and an interesting bridge or two and this is fun place to ride. Surface: Asphalt; 12 feet wide. Location: Seminole County.

Excellent trail to exercise, or just get a peacful walk, jog, ride, or roller blade in. Gives you the feeling you are in a rural town/environment even though you did not have to travel hours to get there. Definately worth your time as far as urban rails to trails go.

Very well constructed trail with alot of attention to detail. The bridge section over the water is beautiful and the preservation of the surroundings is commendable. The folks who built this did it right. It's should be a model for all to follow. I'm anxious for Seminole County to construct the rest of their system.
