Blue Spring State Park Campground

Blue Spring State Park Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Every winter, manatees leave the cooling waters of the St. Johns River to make the tepid 72°F waters of Blue Spring their home. Now this park, home to Blue Spring, is a designated manatee refuge and is a wonderful place to observe the gentle creature in winter. In the summer, human creatures flock to the spring to swim in the waters and escape the heat. As a result, the park and the campground stay fairly busy year-round."
