There is much shallow water in this area. Paddling will be easier around high tide; if you wait until the tide falls, you may need to explore for the best route with deep enough water. However, wading birds are more active on a falling tide as the banks become exposed.
Tidal Information
The marked boat channels in this area are the only routes for boats wishing to avoid the otherwise shallow water. Watch for powerboats, and keep to the side of the marked channels to avoid collision.
