Noble Hammock Canoe Trail Professional Review and Guide
"This marked trail offers quiet quality once you leave Main Park Road behind. A narrow, intimate canoe path winds through a mangrove maze, looping around past Noble Hammock, once a haven for moonshiners in the early twentieth century. You will also encounter many fish that will stir the waters on your arrival. Take this trail if the wind is howling, or if you have time for only a short trip. And paddle slowly here—the sudden twists and turns of the trail demand it. Full-size sea kayaks are not maneuverable enough to enjoy this trail. A canoe and excellent cooperation between bow and stern paddlers will maximize your pleasure here. Bring insect repellent along in these covered waters."
