Noble Hammock Canoe Trail

Noble Hammock Canoe Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Paddle along a loop trail through mangroves and a tropical hardwood hammock. The Noble Hammock trailhead is marked with signage on the south side of the main park road between Nine Mile Pond and Hells Bay. is canoe trail is excellent for those who either have limited time or for novice paddlers who want to sharpen their skills in a quiet protected area. It is also excellent when wind makes paddling elsewhere too challenging.

Proceed slowly because there are quite a few sharp turns that may be challenging with longer canoes or kayaks. The trail winds through mangroves and narrow creeks that connect to a few small ponds. Watch for mangrove cuckoos, warblers, white-crowned pigeons, and night-herons along the trail."
