Hells Bay Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This trip in Everglades National Park explores an area of mangrove forest that opens up into a bewildering area of streams and ponds, but still offers protection from the wind.

It is a waymarked route, which makes navigation along the narrow channels considerably easier than it might otherwise appear, but use of a compass will also help. There are three round-trip options of varying lengths, each to either a primitive camping site or a chickee (camping platform)."
