Flamingo Campground

Flamingo Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Flamingo was once a fishing village, cut off from the rest of Florida by the sea of saw grass known as the Everglades, accessible only by boat.

Since that time, the park service has built a scenic road to Flamingo, which passes several Everglades attractions on the way to Florida Bay. Once here, you can pitch your tent and go about the business of enjoying this unique ecosystem."
