Elliott Key Campground

Elliott Key Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The campground comes with a million-dollar view. But the area came close to not having a campground at all. In the 1960s, a highway was slated to head down through this area. Conservationists banded together and stopped the highway from being built. However, before the land was turned over, developers cut a six-lane swath through the center of Elliott Key—a spiteful act of anger in not having the highway built."
