Cape Sable Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"For a strenuous three- or four-day paddling adventure, try this journey that circles Cape Sable at the northwest corner of Florida Bay. The four-day trip comprises a two-day journey from Flamingo along the Gulf coastline followed by a two-day cruise around the perimeter of Whitewater Bay, a saline lake surrounded by mangrove and peppered with mangrove islands.

The three-day alternative for the more energetic paddler c4
ompletes this last section in a single one-day stretch, either following the route around the perimeter of Whitewater Bay or tracing a route straight across the bay from island to island in more open and exposed waters."
