Manatee Springs State Park Campground

Manatee Springs State Park Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"When the state of Florida began planning state parks, Manatee Springs was one of the first places that came to mind. No wonder—the combination of the historic Suwannee River, a huge spring, varied plant communities, and a mammal reserve make Manatee Springs an easy choice. And with a nonelectric camping loop, your choice to come here should be just as easy.

The 86-site campground is divided into three loops. The Magnolia 2 camping area has the largest sites. This spells RVs. The tall canopy of hardwood has some of the 14 species of oak that thrive in this park, as well as mockernut hickory and butternut hickory."
