    Monument Trail is a hiking trail in Sussex County, New Jersey. It is within Dryden Kuser Natural Area. It is 3.4 miles long and begins at 1,607 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 3.4 miles with a total elevation gain of 646 feet. High Point (elevation 1,795 feet) and Kittatinny Mountain (elevation 1,808 feet) and the High Point Monument obelisk can be seen along the trail. There are also a wood, parkings, viewpoints, and restrooms along the trail. This trail connects with the following: Cedar Swamp Trail, Shawangunk Ridge Trail and Appalachian Trail.

    Nice quick walk, write up says about 3 hours, that is real casual pace. My ten year old and I did it in 2 with many breaks.
