Appalachian Trail

Appalachian Trail is a hiking, biking, and horse trail in Delaware Water Gap, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. It is within Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and Stokes State Forest. It is 25.3 miles long and begins at 317 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 1.1 miles with a total elevation gain of 144 feet. Minsi Lookout, Council Rock, Lookout Rock, Eureka Creek, and another viewpoint and Mount Minsi (elevation 1,453 feet) and Raccoon Ridge can be seen along the trail. There are also scrubs, cliffs, and a wetland along the trail. This trail connects with the following: Appalachian National Scenic Trail, Kaiser Trail (Blue), Garvey Spring Trail (Orange), Far View Trail, Holly Spring Trail, Turquoise Trail, Coppermine Trail (Red), Orange Trail, Rattlesnake Swamp Connector Trail, Mt. Minsi Fire Road, Buttermilk Falls Trail (blue) and Woods Road.
