Detailed Trail Descriptions from Our Guidebooks

Hiking Kentucky's Red River Gorge (Menasha Ridge Press)
Sean Patrick Hill
"In 2010, a fire roared through this area, burning a great deal of the forests along Rush Ridge, though the Pinch-Em-Tight Ridge was spared. This loop follows both ridges, providing chances to see both the open high-elevation forests along the Pinch-Em-Tight Trail and the recovering burn on Rush Ridge, whose fire-opened canopies allow views over the surrounding ridges and ravines."
