Double Arch Trail (#201) Professional Reviews and Guides
"Traversing a wooded ridge, the trail to Double Arch actually follows the old Tunnel Ridge Road, now closed to all but foot traffic. This makes for an easy, even quick hike. The last stretch of trail begins from the end of the road at the old trailhead and promptly descends into a ravine, ambling in the shadow of substantial cliffs before rounding the end of the ridge and climbing to Double Arch, a two-tiered arch that offers not only shelter from the rain but also an unimpeded look across the densely forested cove to the Auxier Ridge, Haystack Rock, and Courthouse Rock."
