Mashamoquet Brook Campground

Mashamoquet Brook Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Pay attention as you approach the Mashamoquet Brook State Park and campgrounds—there are three separate entrances for the state-park day-use area and hiking trails, the Mashamoquet Brook Campground, and the Wolf Den Campground. Each of these entrances is separated by a couple of miles along US 44. As you head west on US 44, you’ll first come to the entrance for the Wolf Den Campground, which is actually marked as Wolf Den State Park. A couple miles farther down on the same side, you’ll come to Mashamoquet Brook State Park. A couple more miles west brings you to the Mashamoquet Brook Campground—which is where you want to be when camping here.

This part of the campground is smaller and set within a beautiful dense forest. It gets a little bit of road noise from Route 44 during the day, as the campground is fairly close to the road, but that fades off at night."
