Old Lyme Rogers Lake

Old Lyme: Rogers Lake Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Old Lyme is best known as a quaint beach town with an historic arts scene. What is less well known is the impressive cycling pedigree of Old Lyme and the surrounding communities. This route follows the scenic roads that professional racers Tom Danielson and Benjamin Wolfe cut their teeth on. They also are popular group ride destinations for local cycling clubs. Serious hills, scenic ponds, and rural life, just a short distance from downtown Old Lyme and the interstate highway, can make any rider feel like a professional honing their craft.

This rolling and sometimes hilly ride starts by the Morning Glory Cafe. If the parking lot is full, other parking is available at the commuter lot just down the street, off of I-95 exit 70, or at the Old Lyme Shopping Center, a nearby strip mall development."
