Mystic-Stonington Loop Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"The harbor village of Mystic is one of the most popular tourist destinations in New England. Once an important trading post, Mystic has retained the character and charm of an 18th-century seaport, best showcased in two nationally recognized attractions. Mystic is a village of some 5,000, comprising parts of neighboring Groton and Stonington.
This ride starts in Mystic near the aquarium, winds through a historic district around the harbor and past the seaport, and follows the river north into a pastoral section of Stonington before returning in a loop through the Stonington Harbor and historic district. Most of the route is flat and easy, but a few miles in the middle, around North Stonington, can be fairly hilly."
