Blue Blazes is a hiking trail in Litchfield County, Connecticut. It is 4.3 miles long and begins at 686 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is two miles with a total elevation gain of 707 feet. The Mine Hill Preserve and (unpaved) parkings are near the trailhead. The mine, no grate, mine, path continues, furnace ruins, path continues, mine, and path continues attractions and the Roxbury Land Trust, Inc. (Route 199) wood can be seen along the trail.
