Hopeville Pond State Park Campground

Hopeville Pond State Park Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"A tall, fairly old-growth-forest canopy covers the whole campground at Hopeville Pond State Park. The high forest canopy, combined with relatively little undergrowth on the forest floor, gives most of the sites here a shaded yet very open quality. You'll probably be able to see most of your neighbors, but there is still a peaceful, shaded, quiet feeling to this campground.

Hopeville Pond State Park is a nice, quiet, relaxing place. The campground is far enough from any major roads that it gets hardly any road noise. There are no sites right on the pond per se, but they are very close. You should definitely try for one of the outer-rim sites so you're as close to the pond as possible."
