Sleeping Giant State Park, Tower Hike

Sleeping Giant State Park, Tower Hike Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"At this state park, trails travel the anatomy of one of south-central Connecticut’s most prominent landmarks—Sleeping Giant. Rising 700 feet and sprawling over 2 miles, the Giant serves up grand panoramas.

In 1977 the entire trail system won national recreation trail distinction. Color-coded blazes identify the six east–west trails, while red geometric shapes point out the five north–south routes. Together, they suggest multiple hiking loops."
