"This park was a gift to the state from the Huntington family, renowned for its role in creating the nation’s first transcontinental railroad and for its contributions to the art world.

Anna Hyatt Huntington sculpted here, and her bear and wolf sculptures now welcome visitors to the park. The described loop offers a relaxing carriageway stroll through picturesque woodland and past outcrops, ponds, stone walls, and other remnants of history."
