This is a nicely maintained trail that's fun for biking or walking. Lots of trees and a river. It's very flat and mostly paved so I wouldn't say it's good for hiking. Overall it's a lovely natural spot for a ride on your bike, walking/jogging or taking my dog for exercise. It also feels very safe which is a plus.

As a runner I am looking for smooth wide trails for summer running. This trail has a good incline starting from the bridge with some rocky terrain. You then reach some very panoramic ledges overlooking a river. The trail is hilly and challenging for a runner who is starting out, but a very scenic fun and worthwhile trail area. If you are looking for some hillwork and trail run to protect your joints and need refuge from the sun, this is absolutely ideal.

I live near this trail and frequently bike and run on it. It's a beautiful area along the Salmon River. The trail is fairly flat which makes it ideal for people of all ability levels.
