Monte Vista Trail #221 is a hiking trail in Cochise County, Arizona. It is within Coronado National Forest and Chiricahua Wilderness Area. It is 4.1 miles long and begins at 6,594 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 8.6 miles with a total elevation gain of 4,899 feet. The Buckskin Saddle (elevation 8,438 feet) saddle and the Bear Spring can be seen along the trail. There are also information guideposts along the trail. The trail ends near Monte Vista Peak (elevation 9,272 feet) and the Monte Vista Peak Lookout (elevation 9,272 feet) observation tower. There are also restrooms and a hitching post near the end of the trail. This trail connects with the following: Brushy Canyon Trail #355 and North Fork Rucker Canyon Road.
