This area of trails has everything from beginner to advanced. I found the trail system in this area very diverse. It is well worth getting out to the area. I have been to Chiva Falls in the spring time when crossing the streams is not very difficult and in the fall after the monsoon rains and it is a world of difference. In any case, it is a ride that is worth the effort. When climbing the difficult rocky forest service roads as a intermediate rider, you can walk your bike up the road and enjoy the downhill rush on the way back out. I highly recommend this ride. It is really a challenge in the fall crossing the swelling streams and enjoying the fall colors up at the falls.
