Two Elk National Recreation Trail

Two Elk National Recreation Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Follow a crystal clear little creek up a narrow valley to the base of Vail Ski Area’s Tea Cup Bowl and Blue Sky Basin on the Two Elk National Recreation Trail, which crosses a ridge over Two Elk Pass connecting Minturn to I-70 near East Vail.

This hike explores part of the trail on the west side, a pleasant journey through thick forest, past rocky outcrops, amid lush aspen forests, and across fields of colorful wildflowers. Options for a shorter 1.6-mile or medium 5.8-mile out-and-back hike are mentioned."
