Vail Pass

Vail Pass Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This is a dreamy route along a fully separated bike path. Slopes are mostly moderate, with a few notable exceptions, but the hill is long and the air is thin. As a one-way, out-and-back, or part of a larger ride or tour, the Vail Pass bike path (officially the Tenmile Canyon National Recreation Trail) is one of the must-do rides for recreational bikers in Colorado.

Spot the cyclist in this wooded section. One of the best rides in the state. The route described here starts on the Vail side and rolls east to Copper Mountain. Most of the folks who start on the Vail side will turn around and ride back after they
reach Copper Mountain."
