Pitkin Creek Trailhead

Pitkin Creek Trailhead Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This four-pack of peaks offers an airy, peaceful ridge walk after quite a bit of work to get up there. Despite the off-trail nature of the route, none of these peaks ever get over Class 2+ in technical difficulty.

The trick here is finding the best place to leave the well-manicured Pitkin Creek Trail and find your way into the basin below Mount Solitude. After that, it’s a straight-up hike on slopes that are solid but peppered with slick rocks. Mount Solitude is the featured attraction, but since you’re up here . . . why not add on a few other summits?"
