This very popular 4-wheel-drive trail connects two classic mountain towns on opposite sides of the Continental Divide. Tincup has many occupied cabins, used mostly in the summer. Tincup General Store and Frenchy’s Cafe are open summer only. The centerpiece of Tincup is a quaint white church with steeple that doubles as a town hall. St. Elmo has long been one of Colorado’s most popular ghost towns. A general store and bed & breakfast service its throngs of summer tourists.
