"The Peaks Trail is a fun trail that links the two Colorado mountain towns of Breckenridge and Frisco over an 8-mile stretch that skirts the eastern slopes of the Tenmile Range. Although the trail can be done from both directions, the most popular route is to begin in Breckenridge and finish in Frisco. Even though the distance seems a little long for the advanced beginner or intermediate snowshoer or skier, the route is generally flat and has some nice downhill trekking or skiing sections."
