Base Camp to Mountain View Trail

Base Camp to Mountain View Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The Base Camp to Mountain View Trail incorporates one of Routt County's newest trails. Starting from Rabbit Ears Pass, riders travel over steep, rocky descents and ascents; through fast, smooth high alpine meadows and bone-chilling creeks on their way to the top of the Steamboat Springs Ski Resort.

Commanding views of the Yampa Valley and Routt National Forest reward the tireless rider as he or she approaches the resort. From the top of the resort there are a variety of trail options to the bottom, ranging from technical singletrack to dirt service roads."
