Roxborough Park Medley Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This beautiful park has some amazing redrock formations, which also happen to make it extremely popular for hikers. Due to its enclosure by dense shrubbery in numerous areas, you will not see them coming. Additionally, this low and east-facing park can be quite hot in the summer, so run early.
Finally, avoid the South Rim Trail for at least a day after any significant rainfall, since the clay base of the trail becomes astonishingly sloppy when wet. Grade: Easy, with a two degree average angle of ascent. The trail is wide and perfectly groomed during the first loop on the Fountain Valley Trail, turning into narrow single track on the Willow and South Rim Trails."
