Hunters Lake Loop

Hunters Lake Loop Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"On this loop wildflowers (and perhaps wildlife, too) are yours for the asking. The route is a combination of two trails: the Hunters Lake Trail and a portion of the Tie Hill Trail.

From the trailhead Hunters Lake Trail 800 goes southwest through the trees and past a meadow on your left. You’ll cross a stream at 0.2 mile; about this time you’ll pass your return trail, marked by a rock cairn. It may be difficult to follow the trail from here, so I suggest hiking in a clockwise direction."
