Hope Creek Trail

Hope Creek Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This is a nice hike along a creek; there are also meadows with wildflowers, and a chance of seeing wildlife. As you hike up high, there are good views of Mount Hope, Sawtooth Mountain, and the Continental Divide. The trail makes for a long day hike or overnight backpack.

The West Fork Fire ravaged much of the area in June 2013, so use caution when hiking through the burn area. Sign in at the trail register, then begin hiking Hope Creek Trail 838. You’ll travel through burned timber with nice views of Hope Creek. The trail grade is mostly easy for the first few miles. You’ll cross a stream at 0.6 mile and enter a meadow at 1 mile."
