Grand Turk and Sultan Mountains

Grand Turk and Sultan Mountains Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Grand Turk and Sultan are the two monarchs of the immediate Silverton area. Along with nearby twelver Bear Peak, these prominent giants serve as the unofficial welcoming committee to the Silverton valley. Though there are peaks of greater stature off Molas Pass, or of greater beauty in the northern Weminuche, this duo stands tall and proud as the crown jewels of Silverton.

Historically a quaint and rustic mining town, Silverton had little to offer the casual Colorado ski enthusiast prior to the opening of the Silverton Mountain ski resort in 2002. This resort stands out from most other resorts in the United States with regard to terrain and demeanor."
