William Peak Road

William Peak Road Professional Review and Guide

"Trail runs along high ridge with outstanding views of Green Mountain Reservoir. Upper portion has excellent dispersed camping spots nestled in the trees, some with great views. This is a popular hunting area in the fall. Limited side roads, but still a fun area for ATVs. Road starts as gravel, but soon climbs through a rocky, rutted section that can be impassable under wet conditions. Once on top, road levels out and is in much better condition. Around back side of Williams Peak, road narrows to one lane where it is difficult to pass."

Rough road going up, awesome views from up on top - not maintained, so one never knows - had to pull a couple downed trees off the road.
